Information about Customer Pick-Ups & Delivery
We want to make your Shopping experience very peaceful with us and do our best to achieve this goal. To avoid any confusion and  for better understand , Please spend few moments to read this information. 
Customer Pick ups

Free Pick-Ups are allowed from Budget Beds Warehouse in Penrose.Please note when picking up your order you need to bring

  • A copy of your order email or an invoice 
  • A Photo ID
  • In some circumstances we may ask you to bring your Credit or Debit Card , you have used when you ordered online. 
  • If you are sending someone to pick up on your behalf , We would need their details before you arrange (Name and ID )

  • All customer pick ups are allowed from our warehouse located in Penrose,  Auckland with prior arrangements. 
  • Pickups are available only on certain days & times. You will be notified when goods are ready for pick ups along with day & timings. If a given time is not suitable , You can let us know and we can make it available at other times (provided that time is suitable for us)
  • In-Stock Purchased Items are usually ready with in 2-4 working days for pick up , this doesn't include items which are made to order such as Headboards or bed base which has been ordered with some changes (Different Fabric, Style , Height or any other types of custom request) We'll notify you once these products are ready for pick up
  • There are sometimes pick ups allowed from our retail store 245 Church St, Onehunga. This only happens when we have sold something from our display stock or Items marked from pick up from the Store. Details are mentioned about pick up location on product page or we inform you well in advance after your purchase.
Delivery & Shipping

We use third party freight companies for all deliveries for all areas. In any unlikely circumstances,  for any reason if they change the delivery schedule (day / time) , We'll notify you once they are informed by them. We request and appreciate your support in this type of situation. 

Please note we may not be able to deliver on specific days & times. Usually delivery companies carry few deliveries at the same time and deliver by their route plans. However we try our best to arrange delivery on your desired day but this can not be guaranteed until you have confirmed with us beforehand

Which areas do you deliver ?

We Ship New Zealand Wide. If your address is not listed on the shipping page or you could not find it, Please contact us to find out shipping charges.

Which Areas are Covered in Auckland ($79 Delivery) , How delivery charges get calculated ?

West Auckland - Onehunga to West Gate | East Auckland - Onehunga to Howick | South Auckland - Onehunga to Papakura | North Shore - Onehunga to Albany

  • All delivery charges are based on numbers of Items purchased and delivery location. To understand about shipping cost please read below
    • On the shipping page , delivery prices ($79) are for Selected Auckland areas only. These areas are Suburbs from 
    • Our standard delivery charges are $79 for Auckland areas (As mentioned on Checkout Page) This includes Items purchased on one order (Maximum no of items per order / per delivery should be 4 or less) For example if you buy 1 Queen Bed (Mattress & Base) Delivery Charges would be $79 , if you buy 2 x Queen Beds ( 4 Pcs) You still pay $79
    • If you buy 3 Beds or add another Products such as Headboard - Delivery charges will be extra. For actual charges - Please contact us.

Out of Auckland & Rural Areas of Auckland

For all other areas (Outside Auckland & Rural) Delivery charges are calculated based on Freight Company's Per CBM Charges. For example if you buy a Queen Size Bed (Mattress & Base), The volume of a Queen Bed is 1.6 m3 and Charges for your area is $100 / m3. Then delivery charges will be 1.6 x $100 = $160

Will my order be delivered upstairs ?

  • By default all deliveries are Door to Door on Ground Floor Only. Taking Items inside your house / rooms entirely depends upon delivery people. You can make a request for this service. You may be asked for an extra charge from delivery people. It's always good to make a humble request to them 
  • Upstairs deliveries are also available upon request. Extra Charges applies
  • If your delivery address is located on a Hilly or Narrow driveway or if it has a complicated access, please let us know when you order as We use other Freight companies for these deliveries and an Extra Cost may be charged.

What I miss delivery or I am not home ?

Auckland : You will always receive a notification at least a day in advance (Phone Call / Email / Text) about your delivery tentative timings and will only be sent out after you have confirmed day & timings. If you are not present at the time of delivery , the Driver will call you and if he still can't get hold of you or has no answers from you (When they send text). They take your goods back and you will need to rebook your delivery and need to pay again. Please get in touch with us and we'll try our best to accommodate you for the next delivery available and also provide a best solution. For any circumstances like this , should you decide to cancel the sale , Please note , Delivery fees will not be refunded. Items ordered as custom made can also not be canceled. If you do not wish to pay delivery charges again , you may arrange a pick up

Out of Auckland & Rural : Same conditions as above. There is extra cost involved for bringing goods back to our warehouse in Auckland.

When receiving delivery of your goods.

  • As for peace of mind , we request all customers to sign when they receive delivery. If signature is not possible , Customers are requested to send a text message to confirm they have received delivery. Driver may take a photo as proof of delivery. 
  • If you have someone who is receiving delivery on your behalf. We would need their name before we dispatch. They need to sign the delivery receipt when they receive delivery. 
  • Usually all goods are dispatched after careful inspection. Should any item get damaged in transportation or you receive any item damaged Please let freight people upon receiving goods. Doing this will help us to make a claim for damaged items during transportation. We don't guarantee any claim for items which has been received and signed by customer / receiver on customer's behalf
  • We'll notify the freight company about this and submit a claim. Please be aware Claim process sometimes may take longer (depending upon company and situation) but we'll keep you posted about progress. 

Other Important facts & understanding

  • Due to a shortage of staff or for any other unforeseen reasons , There may be a driver only when you get your delivery. We really appreciate and request to give them a hand to unload goods from their vehicle. 
  • Please bear in mind some time deliveries might not reach on a given time due to traffic congestion on roads or for any other unavoidable reasons. In this case Driver will always be in touch with you.
  • Some customers ask to leave their purchased goods at the entrance door or under shed, or under carport or garage or on deck etc.,  This is all customers' responsibility to make sure it is safe to leave goods at your requested spot/place. In the event of any unhappy circumstances (Stolen , Wet in rain or damaged, Soiled by some one etc), Budget Beds take no responsibilities for all this and we can not accept any returns or offer a replacement.
